Most everyone knows the globe is divided into 24 time zones (although for many, how we lose or gain a date with that International Date Line is still a mystery)... Some even know that a few countries choose to use the same time throughout their land, even though they span more than one time zone from their East to West borders.

But do you know that some countries, including India, are not on the hour, but the half hour! Others include Newfoundland, Afghanistan, Iran, Myanmar, Fiji, some other South Pacific Islands and parts of Australia...(3 out of their 9)!

And Nepal (and the Chatham Islands off New Zealand) are on the 3/4 hour!
