A Brief RMF Bio:

I am a single, semi-retired American who owned a small insurance agency for 15 years. My clients came from all over the world. Before that, in what feels like a former life, I worked in retail and attended annual buyer's conventions, like the New York Boutique Show. Way back then I met some unconventional importers who were doing what I would love to do now, travel. I've since become hooked. I love the Third World, and with the Internet, the Third World is able to do great things. I want to help.

I have been online since the early '90s, and have watched the Internet grow. In 1996 I traveled to Asia and looked for the few places to send email. In Singapore I experienced the first cybercafes (a new word!).When I returned home, a friend helped me turn my travel diary and some photos into a website.

Our collaboration became FRANKnKISER Monster Webdesign.

The name has evolved with business partners...FRANKnKISER, FRANKnSTEIN..

In 1998 I traveled to Bombay, India and discussed the concept of sending work back and forth via email with some IT students (albeit on a small scale), long before Outsourcing was in everyone's vocabulary.

Over the years I have taught myself to create simple web-pages. I have habitually edited the text, added images, sound and eventually video to my personal site which has grown to well over 100 pages. It includes:

My personal pages, including my travelogue

The Insurance Buyer's Neighborhood, a Frank advice resource

and Merchandise, my humble attempt to display (online) some neat stuff I have bought and sold.

I'm not a nerd (I just play one online)! I can go a day without checking my email any time I want!

When I signed up online for membership in AARP (the Association of Retired Persons) I was prompted to "Choose a Title"
