Although there were cups and cones, the usual way to serve up this refreshment in Thailand is to place an optional scoop of shredded sweetened coconut and one of sweet sticky rice on a HAMBURGER BUN, followed by at least four small scoops of the ice cream.  Canned sweet milk is dripped over it before the top bun is placed.
